Job Description

The Procurement Sourcing Analyst supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Tradeshift’s Procure to Pay tool set in support of our internal business operations. Additionally, with the direction of Tradeshift Procurement Management the position will provide professional procurement support including spend analytics, tactical buying support, supplier management support, and running low level sourcing events.  

What you will be doing:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Tradeshift procure to pay tools including Tradeshift’s eInvoicing, eProcurement and virtual Pcard products. Along with third party products utilized for sourcing and contract management. 

  • Play the role of system administrator supporting user and supplier onboarding, and system configuration and maintenance. 

  • Help to develop eProcurement catalog content to automate and drive transactions through preferred sources of supply. 

  • Provide buying support for off-catalog procurements, helping to assure appropriate suppliers are selected and contracted with. 

  • Perform spend and market analysis to support rational for supplier selection. 

  • Support strategic sourcing activities to increase spend under management and savings.

  • Hit goals and quarterly targets assigned by the Vice President of Network Category Management, and aligned to the overall Tradeshift strategy. 

Qualifications

About You

  • You have 1 - 5  years experience supporting the procurement function. 

  • You are familiar and have experience supporting the use of e-commerce tools. 

  • You are experienced in working with suppliers, and customers in the implementation of e-commerce tools, or similar business tools.  Including troubleshooting process problems and implementing needed changes.  

  • You’re an active listener and have a confident and knowledgeable communication style

  • You’re a thoughtful, methodical, and strategic thinker willing to try new methods. 

  • You are an independent, action oriented professional . 

  • You continually look for opportunities to efficiently build and evolve customer support strategies, driving meaningful business improvement.  

  • You have an understanding of spend analytics, and are comfortable performing market research and associated analytics

  • You have the ability to understand market trends.  

  • You have experience with providing Buying and Sourcing support, and you are open to learning and developing advanced procurement skills in the area of strategic sourcing and supplier management.
