About The Role

The Core Solution team engages with Tradeshift clients to develop/configure a solution that fits the requirements of the client. The Senior Manager of Professional Services (Core Solutions) is responsible for managing a team that defines the client requirements, developing an architecture to meet the requirements, and oversees the implementation of the solution. Additional responsibilities include; performing in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Performance is measured by the success of the engagement and utilization (i.e., billable hours for the department).

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Recruit and develop the Core Solution Team
  • Direct and manage staff productivity on customer engagements
  • Achieve financial targets and key results
  • Provide continuous feedback to consultants and written appraisals
  • Support growth of consultants to achieve their goals and objectives
  • Lead the continuous development of the project “playbook” 
  • Manage customer requirements and expectations to ensure customer success
  • Maintain overall quality of all projects and programs
  • Manage customer and internal escalations/prioritisation 
  • Provide high quality and timely services to assure customer satisfaction
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams within Tradeshift

Qualifications

  • Have strong operational, project management, consulting technology and process skills
  • Have excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Demonstrate ability to operate at both the tactical and strategic level
  • Demonstrate ability to lead teams and produce results
  • Have 5 years experience in Consulting/Professional Services 
  • Have 5 years management experience
  • Possess experience with Buyer/Seller Business Network companies is preferred
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills
  • Have outstanding collaboration skills
  • Have experience within delivery/services and managing projects/implementations end-to-end
  • Have experience with Change Management methodologies is a plus
