Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Customer Marketing Manager with a strong customer advocacy background to develop and execute global, B2B customer-centric strategies. This position will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the creation of compelling customer references and market-facing materials, building brand awareness, and deepening relationships with existing and prospective customers. 

This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with Tradeshift’s corporate marketing, product marketing, sales leadership, and our executive team. This individual will need to understand our products and industry position as well as manage timely deliverables - with strong communication and cross-functional partnering skills. You must be team-oriented, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have experience in building customer reference programs and will have a passion for identifying and developing relationships with key customers that can serve as a marketing channel through case studies, blog posts, speaking opportunities, and more. You will be a part of our global Product Marketing team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build, manage, and execute customer marketing campaigns to increase product adoption, customer engagement, renewals, cross-sell and upsell opportunities. 
  • Work closely with our Sales team to identify customer references requests required to speak with prospects
  • Liaise with customers, and internal teams to develop content
  • Recruit customer references that align to sales, product growth, and key marketing initiatives
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, including multiple events annually
  • Serve as a representative of Customer Marketing to the broader Tradeshift organization, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunities for Customer Marketing to support or take leadership in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Lead the formulation and ongoing tracking of customer advocacy programs, with the ability to run multiple programs at one time
  • Identify areas for improvement to support our key objectives. Ideate, propose, and manage full-scale customer marketing initiatives to address them
  • Define and report on customer-specific KPIs to propose improvements, alternative initiatives, and problem-solve to reach agreed-upon goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of program/project management experience - preferably in similar customer advocacy, customer marketing, product marketing, loyalty marketing, lifecycle marketing, and/or retention marketing position
  • Experience creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Skilled with writing compelling marketing copy in English
  • Proven track record of successfully handling stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a bias for action
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve with strong attention to detail
  • Listening and persuasion skills
  • Experience with B2B SaaS startup marketing, customer lifecycle strategy, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Experience in the financial sector, procurement, accounts payable is a plus
