Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a variety of financial and accounting duties, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and related financial analysis and investor and bank reporting.  This position will also assist in the preparation of financial statements, as well as year-end audit and working to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of financial process and systems.   The successful candidate will be a team player who is willing to work with all levels in a fast-paced, growing company.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Create and maintain departmental and company annual budgets.
  2. Create and maintain financial models to develop company financial projections.
  3. Create Board of Director presentations utilizing reported and forecasted financial information. 
  4. Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and distribution of reports to all departments.
  5. Analyze monthly financial results to identify and report variances from budget and forecast.
  6. Analyze financial statements to identify and report operational trends, including departmental sales and gross margins.
  7. Work with senior management to identify and establish key operational and financial metrics to drive improvements, including working capital and cost savings.
  8. Assist in the preparation of monthly investor files and distribution of reports.
  9. Analyze cash flow to maintain adequate levels of liquidity to service debt and interest obligations.
  10. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual required bank reporting.
  11. Perform regular and ad hoc financial analysis and other related duties as assigned.
  12. Analyze current financial and accounting process and plan and implement changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of financial functions and systems. 
  13. Assist with fiscal year-end closings and coordination and preparation of the audit procedures and report.
  14. Perform regular and ad hoc financial analysis and other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA or working towards CPA preferred.
  • Public accounting experience with Big Four required.
  • Advanced to Expert Excel skills.
  • Experience with automated general ledgers.
