Tripping.com is looking for a Senior QA/Software Engineer in Test to help us further improve our platform.  Our engineers are talented, driven and humble people who love what they do, are intellectually curious, are
always looking to grow, and enjoy having fun along the way. Tripping.com is a tech-focused startup, so you will have the freedom to try new things and influence the design and technical direction of the site.

You will be the first Senior QA/Software Engineer in Test at Tripping and will work with our various Engineering teams to ensure that we are implementing proper development and testing infrastructure. You will also help develop automated testing suites to validate our world class product.

Additionally, you will work closely with Product to ensure that incoming requirements are to your standards and help drive quality and purpose across all releases of the Tripping platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles.
• Improve current deployment and testing processes
• Participate in product and code reviews to develop and execute proper test strategies
• Perform manual testing as a precursor to automated testing. 

• BS in Computer Science or comparable education / experience
• 6+ years experience working in Software Test and Automation
• Experience working in UI automation and multiple browser sets
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Unit Testing frameworks
• Experience working with Product teams in developing requirements and testing spec
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of QA methodology, Software Development Life Cycle, and how these merge together
• Understanding of emerging technologies
