Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC is seeking a full-time Sr. Technical Recruiter to work in our Corporate headquarters to support our growing business. This is an exciting position in the company where the right motivated candidate can take ownership of recruiting to assist in the growth of a great woman-owned small business. Position Description:

The Sr. Technical Recruiter will support team growth through recruitment, providing advice and assistance to employees and managers, developing a solid pipeline of candidates, and supporting the Vice President of Human Resources. The Sr. Technical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers at all levels. The right candidate will work closely with the hiring manager to understand the requirements of each position and utilize creative strategies for both active and passive sourcing.


Position Responsibilities:

• Search for and recruit qualified candidates to fill company openings utilizing resume databases, employee referrals, college recruiting, career fairs and social networking; ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner.

• Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques to screen and select qualified candidates, perform full life cycle recruiting for Information Technology and experienced professionals.

• Support the Business Development team with sourcing for contingent hires for proposals, RFPs, etc.

• Leverage experience with online sourcing techniques and remain up to date on all recruiting technology.

• Write, manage, and post job descriptions to company website and internet job boards to attract top talent.

• Source candidates via database, internet, cold calling, networking, and other creative sourcing activity techniques to generate additional candidates.

• Review applications/resumes; input background checks, process associates through hiring process, extend offers and schedule orientations. Assist with new hire orientations.

• Determine appropriate salaries, using market and competitive data.

• Evaluate, negotiate, and extend offers to candidates.

• Partner with hiring team to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations.

• Organize and complete applicant files and other related paperwork in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with hiring managers to define both short and long-term staffing needs.

• Develop a pipeline of talent for future needs. Stay current on recruitment trends by building and maintaining a network of contacts in industry.

• Identify and refine recruiting and hiring processes and procedures, in conjunction with Sr. Director of Human Resources, by bringing creative and innovative ideas for solutions.

• Coordinate and participate in Career Fairs, User groups, and recruiting engagements as needed.

• Be flexible in assisting with pre-proposal and proposal efforts.

• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent work experience.

• 5-7 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience recruiting for high level and technical positions is required.

• Experience recruiting in a Government contracting environment is required  

• Experience recruiting and sourcing for proposal and capture activities highly desired.

• Proven track record of delivering hiring results.

• Ability to generate a high quality pipeline of candidates under tight timelines.

• Previous experience with ADP HRB Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is desired.

• Has full life-cycle recruiting knowledge that includes experience with a candidate tracking system, recruiting on the Internet, and familiarity of IT terminology.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills interacting effectively with all types of people, in both written and oral modes.

• Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive/employee information.

• Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on more responsibilities as needed, and devote time necessary to complete deadlines. Additional Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP and EEO regulations, and standard HR practices and procedures.

• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, and in a professional, tactful manner with candidates, employees and Senior/Executive Management.

• Metrics-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to analyze, interpret, present and act upon data.

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, manage priorities and workflow.

• Ability to work independently and as a creative member of various teams.

• Proficient on Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels and exercise good judgment.

• Proven ability to recruit qualified staff for internal and client openings in a timely manner.

• Experience maintaining an accurate, detailed database of potential candidate resumes versus hiring needs, especially as it relates to proposal activities.
