Job Description

Purpose of the Internship:
•    Role provides opportunities to build a professional portfolio and further develop specific communication  skills while expanding the organization’s content library.

Responsibilities / Tasks Intern will complete (be specific):
•    Create content using AP style and agency style of writing
•    Conduct interviews in person, via phone and online
•    Use writing, photography video and social media skills to share camp stories
•    Modify content to meet a variety of print and digital mediums
•    Log and file images, stories and supporting graphics electronically
•    Create and implement plans to extend social media reach
•    Establish connections with visual art students or professionals for pro bono work in photography and video, video editing

Preferred Qualifications:
A solid writer or journalist with photo, video and social media skills. Candidate must have completed three years of college coursework and have experience with social media and photography as well as solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
