Consumer purchasing behavior has been transformed by peer reviews – think TripAdvisor, Angie’s List, Yelp, Bazaarvoice and Amazon.com. Yet to date no one has meaningfully applied the same principles to B2B. Each year, $3.8 trillion is spent on enterprise technology alone, yet critical decisions continue to get made with insufficient information. TrustRadius seeks to provide technology buyers access to affordable, authentic and pragmatic advice from peers, and in doing so, change the way that business software is bought and sold, and shake up the $4 billion technology analyst space. Our site enables highly contextual networking, and authentic, in-depth, and safe information sharing.
You will be working with a successful leadership team. CEO, Vinay Bhagat founded Convio, which became the leading SAAS platform for nonprofits, went public in 2010, and was acquired in May for $325m. CTO Dave Hart started Convio’s engineering organization, eventually scaling it to 80 people and previously held leadership roles at Tivoli Systems etc. Research Director, Alan Cooke has a strong market research background working at companies like HP and Inquisite. VP Operations & Finance, Scott Miller brings expertise in B2C site optimization and analytics from his stint as Chief Revenue Officer at Vast.com. Community Director, Patrick Hansen led the Go! program at Convio - a programmatic approach to serving smaller organizations through a cohort model.

We are looking for a creative communications professional who can strategize interesting content pieces to create, and produce and distribute a high volume of quality, thought provoking pieces in blog/short-form and long-form/white paper format output leveraging reviews and discussions by our community of professional technology users.
- Experience in B2B high technology marketing/communications a must
- Strong track record in producing a high volume of quality thought leadership content
- Knowledge of how to maximize content for SEO and PR
- Strong email marketing experience
- Experience in social media based content promotion
- Links to writing samples required
Desired skills/ background
- Experience with email and marketing automation tools
- Knowledge of one or more enteprise technology domain
- Background in journalism a plus
