Whether you relish day-to-day challenges of project management, possess the precision and communication demands of project monitoring or appreciate the complexity of cost management, this program will provide you with exposure across a growing and evolving consultancy in Canada.

Cost Management

Both Pre and Post Contract Cost Management is vital in delivering the best value to our clients enabling them to maximize their return on investment. In your role, you will support the Commission Manager and wider team by taking on responsibility for multiple tasks to the highest quality standards. Pre Contract Cost Management includes tasks such as estimating and producing high calibre cost plans; conducting cost checks and liaising with the client, contractors and developers. Post Contract Cost Management includes responsibilities such as undertaking site visits, valuations, project cost control through the construction phase and liaising with borrowers and lenders.

Project Management

Project management reduces risk and helps clients deliver projects in a consistent and improved manner. Project managers are responsible for the day to day management of the various aspects of the project. Some of the key responsibilities will be establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project, producing project plans and preparing written project communication materials.

Graduate Development Program (GDP)

Our GDP provides you with a structured learning environment that supports you to become a well-rounded consultant and accelerate your career as far and fast as possible.

You will be provided with a development path that is aligned to our internal competency frameworks and supports professional development and qualifications, including RICS, PMP and CIQS. This will help you and your line manager monitor and plan your learning needs in order for you to progress in your career with us. 

The GDP is designed to be:

  • a platform to enhance knowledge and gain first-hand experience
  • a training schedule to support and capture your learning and development needs and achievements
  • a learning tool document to track and report the development of your capabilities.

The 24-month GDP incorporates a training programme that will provide you with technical and behavioural training to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Eligibility criteria:

  • A Degree or Diploma in a construction related degree (Please attach your transcripts to your application)
  • Less than 3 years of relevant work experience in construction
  • Eligible to live and work in Canada
