Job Description

We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional who is motivated, organised and has previous knowledge in delivering marketing and communications initiatives. This role has scope to grow and will have an emphasis on raising internal understanding of best practice, owning coordination of market reports and being responsible for the marketing of key sectors and regions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and support delivery of the ANZ and APAC marketing and business development plan, working with directors, sector specialists, external suppliers and marketing teams.
  • Support the identification of key market trends, and support the translation of these into market reports, campaigns and initiatives that enable us to engage the market
  • Generate a drumbeat of news to provide consistent internal and external profile
  • Develop and cascade our pipeline of brand raising activities to ensure we maintain a strong profile with both our current and target clients
  • Manage the production of key marketing collateral working with sector, key account leaders and campaign teams.
  • Coordinate the identification, production and high-quality submission of industry awards
  • Manage the development and coordination of client and internal events such as webinars, roundtables and seminars.
  • Manage the execution and analysis of marketing initiatives via digital channels such as electronic mailers and social media
  • Coordinate our presence at industry events, ensuring return on investment from sponsorships, conferences and initiatives.
  • Be the custodian of brand across Australia and New Zealand, including delivery of training and managing roll out of new templates or tools.
  • Support and champion national and APAC Business Generation initiatives both within your own team and nationally as appropriate

Qualifications

  • 3 years+ experience across business development or marketing and communications in the professional services sector, ideally within the built environment
  • Relevant University or TAFE level qualifications
  • Be based in Sydney, with possible occasional travel

  • Take responsibility for your own results and success of marketing initiatives
  • Develop productive relationships with other Business Services teams, technical teams and other appropriate specialists within the business

  • Be resilient and tenacious
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communicating and working with stakeholders
