Job Description

Working closely with the Narrative, Creative and Content Directors of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, you will be responsible for the voice and voiceless writing of the live content for the game. With strong management and writing skills, you will organize the production for a team of writers, distribute the tasks and communicate with other teams across several studios.

As such, your missions will be to:

  • Ensure the structural quality of the story as well as the general quality of writing,
  • Make the narrative material accessible to the teams that require it (writers, narrative designers, mission designers),
  • Set up a writing schedule with the designated Associate Producer, and allocate the tasks between the writers effectively,
  • Read and validate the writers’ work, and make revisions when necessary,
  • Make sure that the writing deadlines are met,
  • Be able to give an organizational response to emergencies of rewriting or changing mission or game structure.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing experience, preferably in the video games industry,
  • First hands-on team management experience,
  • Native English speaker or perfect command of the English language,
  • Good understanding of the mechanisms of a AAA video game,
  • Good knowledge of the Ghost Recon brand,
  • Ability to work in an Agile and iterative work environment, and to show reactivity and flexibility,
  • Good time-management and communication skills,
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time in our Paris studio.
