UniKey is looking for a self-starter driven toward advancement in the QA/Test profession. The ideal candidate will have experience working well under pressure. We look for team members with excellent problem-solving techniques and the ability to make sound decisions. Candidate will be responsible for manual testing of mobile applications, software, firmware, and hardware for related access control systems. This role is 80% manual testing. 

Responsibilities

• Work with teams and develop test requirements for each development iteration.
• Execute detailed test cases and scenarios based on release content. 
• Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly.
• Identify, analyze and solve technical problems with minimal support from test and development team. 
• Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
• Communicate issues to development team via bug reports and face-to-face meetings.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.

• AA Degree or equivalent, or one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience manual and/or automated testing.
• 1 - 2 years of experience working in Scrum/Agile development environment.
• 1 - 2 years mobile testing experience with apps and/or mobile websites.
• Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C#, at a novice/intermediate level.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years’ experience in manual testing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to think outside the box and look for ways to make the testing process more efficient.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment within a small team that collaborates with multiple teams working on multiple projects.
• Capable of learning new technologies at an accelerated level
• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
• Mobile Application testing.

Desired Skills

• Skilled in use of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) 
• Experience using test management systems such as. TestComplete, TestRail, Selenium
