Arabic Language Analyst

VOR Technology is a privately held, veteran, and minority owned small business that provides Cyber Intelligence Solutions to government, private industry and critical infrastructure. To include but not limited to Computer Network Defense (CND), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) and Cyber Forensics. We aim to use our technical expertise in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Information Assurance (IA) to support Cyber operations and training. Our mission is to provide support to government efforts in planning, coordination, and the execution of seamless cyberspace operations.
Seeking skilled language analysts who have excellent translation skills. Will support analysts on CIED mission. Familiarity with the IC and SIGINT experience required. The candidates must be able to render transcripts and translations in to standard, idiomatic American English. Will perform analysis, fusion, and reporting of intelligence data. Senior Language Analysts will be able to perform as quality controllers for their peers and junior linguists.
The Arabic (Levantine) linguist must be capable of preserving and conveying the flavor, nuances and subtleties of the original text and interpreting and translating passages that are difficult to understand due to the specific nature or complexity of the language used.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Documented minimum 2/2 DLPT or equivalent scores within the past year. Prefer native level or 3/3. Must have minimum of 4 years of experience in translation or interpretation. Prior US Armed Forces uniformed service in Afghanistan or elsewhere in Southwest Asia. Professional proficiency in written and spoken target language.
Familiarity with the history, culture, and contemporary political-military affairs of target areas. Experience and skill in producing basic and estimative finished intelligence products and in providing timely and responsive intelligence support.
DESIRED SKILLS: Excellent research skills, SIGINT experience, proficiency writing analytical reports, and the ability to brief senior analysts. Must be able to work well in a team setting. Must be able to interact with customer at a highly professional level.
Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph and willingness to take FS poly. FS polygraph preferred.
Must be amenable to shift work and voluntary deployment.
