The Software Architect/Developer is responsible for software architecture and design, development environment design and setup and hands on coding. You should be adept at troubleshooting and root cause analysis; be able to interface with vendors and be able to own up if problems are your own. You must be articulate in code but also when speaking with business stakeholders or fellow software engineers from teams across the company. You will be participating in researching new technologies, proof of concept projects and spread this knowledge around.

Requirements

• Python - 4 years - hands on solid development experience
• Linux - 3+ years including basic operation and problem diagnosis.
• Object Oriented Programming principles - at expert level either in Java or Python.
• RDBMS - either DB2, Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL Server
• Bachelor degree in computer science
