Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Microsoft TFS System Administrator
Technical/Functional Skills
•             In-depth knowledge of Microsoft / Visual Studio suite of development tools (Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, Project Server, SQL Server)
•             An understanding of additional Application Lifecycle Management architectures (e.g., IBM Rational, VersionOne, Atlassian) is a plus
•             Must understand and be able to define requirements and designs to verify architecture, data and information management systems and components for Microsoft tools
•             Experience with the build cycle, including tools such as Hudson & Jenkins, ANT, Maven, Veracode, Test Manager, Release Manager is a plus
•             Hands-on expertise with Microsoft products in a VMware, clustered, load balanced, high availability environment
•             Must have expert knowledge in deploying and managing a scalable, highly available and disaster proof Delivery Systems Architecture.
•             Ability to develop requirements for deployment and implementation of new integrated development environments and lifecycle computing systems to support the common application development and sustaining lifecycles
•             High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Roles & Responsibilities
•             Applies and provides technical leadership in developing and validating improved processes, technologies and large scale systems to support customers and stakeholders
•             Work with the Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management environment that includes: Design, Architecture and Testing, Tools Evaluation, Process Development, Training Development
•             Prepare initial design constraints and ensure that architecture conforms to requirements
•             Develop test scripts and perform testing functions (MTM)
•             Facilitates development and deployment of system integration strategies and system architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
•             Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house
•             Participates in technical review boards and provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of the Microsoft products as they fit into the overall architecture
•             Requires the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
•             Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
•             Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and flexible environment
•             Must be able to work extended hours as needed including being available for off hours production support.
Relevant Experience (Yrs.)
8+ years of Microsoft tools and development experience
