Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the Manager in coordinating TRW’s Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Program.
• Facilitate SOX PMO (Project Management Office) meetings.
• Collect status and time reporting from those involved with documentation effort.
• Review and analyze control gaps found through testing and audit work.
• Coordinate entity level control documentation process which includes:
? Interviewing executive management
? Collecting documentation and evidence
? Support the external auditor’s efforts
• Annual update of TRW’s process templates including:
? Scheduling process specific meetings
? Interviewing division/corporate champions
• Facilitate continuous improvement efforts for Segregation of Duties testing (SME).
• Maintain toolsets (Sitescape/SAFe) used for compliance program documentation.
• Maintain the SOX website.
• Train division and corporate staff in internal controls and SOX compliance program.
• Obtain a broad understanding of TRW’s businesses, operations and processes (BPM).
• Participate in special projects, teams and investigations, as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications that a candidate must possess:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate technical accounting and controls issues in terms so that non-financial audience can understand the significance of the subject matter being discussed. Ability to establish relationships.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance. MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
• Three to five years minimum experience in public accounting, accounting, or finance.
• Professional Certification(s) (e.g. CPA, CMA) required.
• Minimum of two years experience with the SOX compliance process.
• Process improvement orientation.
• Excellent organization, project and time management skills
• Ability to travel an average of 25%, passport required.
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving.
• Foreign language and international business experience with global manufacturing organization desirable.
• Ability to work on diverse teams.
• Strong PC/computer skills required.
• Personal flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule or priority.

Additional Information

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 USD
