About the role

The Senior Customer Contracts Advisor leads the scoping, contracting, and delivery of complex customer-initiated electricity and gas projects, ensuring alignment with commercial and technical standards. You’ll manage stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle, providing expert guidance on legal, contractual, and technical matters to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage complex, high-value customer projects from initiation to completion
  • Interpret customer requirements and ensure fit-for-purpose, compliant solutions
  • Provide ongoing support across legal, contractual, and coordination challenges
  • Act as a key escalation point, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure risk mitigation actions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to meet project objectives
  • Support continuous improvement and mentor other team members as required

Who we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, or commercial discipline (preferred), with 5+ years’ relevant experience; or
  • 10+ years in customer-facing project roles, ideally in utilities or construction
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracting in complex project environments.
  • Proven experience in project coordination; energy sector experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated.
