The role:
As a graduate network planning engineer, you will be part of the team tackling the challenge of Auckland’s rapidly growing electrical demand.
You will design the electrical distribution network to meet the needs of today and the future, while balancing safety, reliability and cost. This includes analysing network demand and customer trends to identify constraints and develop innovative, optimised solutions.
You will also contribute to identifying and integrating new technologies into the network as we evolve toward a smarter energy future.
Who we’re looking for:
- A Bachelor or Masters in electrical engineering (with a focus on Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Renewable Electricity System Design)
- Basic knowledge of PowerFactory
- Ability to recognise patterns and derive insights from large datasets
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
