Independent insurance agency located in South Tampa seeks a full-time Customer Service Representative.
The ideal candidate should display meticulous accuracy, have excellent multitasking skills, successful at working within deadline constraints, and comfortable completing both inbound and outbound calls to clients and sales prospects.
Responsibilities include and may not be limited to:
Interact with clients to answer their questions and follow through on requests made by them
Outbound phone calls to existing clients to confirm renewal information to be accurate
Process changes accurately as requested by clients
Cross sell products that the client does not currently carry
Provide quotes to prospective clients
Strong computer literacy including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong desire to outperform, achieve and learn new technologies and skills
Prioritize activities on a daily basis to accomplish project goals with minimal supervision
Deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of external and internal customers in person, via telephone and in writing
Work independently to resolve practical problems
Work well under deadline, despite interruptions
Interact within a team environment
Perform with an exceptional attention to detail
Reliability, punctuality and professional demeanor and appearance are essential.
This position requires you being able to obtain a 4-40 license. You will have to pass a background check that is completed by the State of Florida Department of Financial Services. You will also have to attend a three day class that is conducted by a third party.
