We are in the process of building out multiple projects both new and ongoing for web and mobile platforms.  Most of our projects are generated by the company, and some are cooked by the staff.  To grow these projects, our lab has a full-time opportunity for a developer of intermediate-senior skill to work on our new Facebook platform, Facebook applications and more.

As a developer at Venture Media Labs, you will have the support of our awesome design team, and become part of one of the best local tech teams. You will also feel right at home here if you demonstrate the following:

• You have development experience in at least one of the following languages:  Ruby, Objective C, C++, Go, Java, Python.

• An ability to work Javascript into what you want.

• You have worked with Facebook API.

• You have an understanding of REST API’s.

• Your brain feels the need to understand how everything works and aren’t scared by the occasional dip into some lower level code.

• You take pride in your code and just simply love to build things.

• There is no appetite too big for you as you love new and interesting technical challenges (anything is possible!).

• You love Facebook and all the wonderful things you can create for our millions of “likers”.

Nice to haves?

• Go, HTML5, CSS3

• An appreciation for UX/Design and love talking product
