Are you fantastic at tackling multiple administrative tasks, love customer service, enjoy helping people and love working in startups? If so, this is your dream job because you will get to work with our team who create art for the world in the form of printed apparel such as t-shirts and more!

The best person for this job will have a sincere love and passion for running the administration of an office and print facility. Also be proactive and happy to help our printing process to run smoothly, jumping in where necessary to help out. Everything from answering phones, ordering supplies, office work and more.

Company: This opportunity is for our print facility, Canvus Print Labs in the North Commercial Drive area (not at Venture Media). 

Timeframe: This is a permanent, full time position.

Rate of Pay: $14/hour

What are the Responsibilities?

  • Manage incoming emails, phone calls from manufacturers, clients and customers while providing an exceptional and friendly experience
  • Work with the Core Team on a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to filing paperwork, ordering, collecting and storing promotional/sample materials, working with manufacturers etc.
  • Care for the facility and get into the trenches to keep the office well organized from reception, filing, clean up and helping staff with their office and warehouse needs.  
  • Fill and verify T-shirt and other printed orders accurately
  • Upload content to our Content Management System (CMS).
  • Monitor email inboxes and forward emails to the correct stakeholder
  • Provide support and needed information to all end users and team members
  • Assist in shipments
  • Participate in training sessions
  • Provide excellence in all levels of support to all end-users


Qualifications

What do I need to have to be ready for this opportunity?

  • Minimum 50 WPM and awesome writing skills
  • 1+ years office administration experience
  • Possess a passion for serving people, going above and beyond and making it right for the customers
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite especially excel and extensive experience using the Internet
  • Strong communication skills with team-members, leads and the ability to operate with minimal supervision
  • A talent for identifying problems and related solutions that may hinder customer and team satisfaction
  • Ability to take initiative in helping keep the office and facility organized
  • Trustworthy, organized, reliable and has a positive outlook in life
  • You live in commutable distance to our North Commercial Drive warehouse area as this position is based on-site

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Contact and call centre experience (email, live chat and phone) 
  • Retail experience especially in the sale of apparel 
  • Warehouse and shipping experience
