Job Description

The Sales Executive will identify, pursue and win new business in the mining vertical for Ventyx, across the US. Reporting to the VP of Sales, North America, Sales Executive will develop an individual strategic sales plan to meet multi-million dollar quota, driving profitable new logos . Will be new business focused, driving a consultative sales process from prospecting, presentation, demos, rfp’s, proposals, negotiation through close.  Will sell Intelligent Mining Solutions (IMS) into existing clients as well as predominant focus on net new clients to Ventyx.  Will act as quarter back within Ventyx, to align appropriate resources during sales process to ensure flawless execution. Reports out on applicable pipeline activity.



  • Develops full sales plan and executes to meet quota and client deliverables.  Calls on and regularly interfaces with senior leadership in prospective mining clients.  Drives a consultative sales approach to      align and propose appropriate Ventyx business solutions.  Leads the execution of the plan, defining successful milestones.
  • Works to further penetrate existing markets to achieve desired market presence.
  • Consults with C level decision makers on business opportunities, using consultative approach to determine opportunities to partner. 
  • Self directed, leads his/her own vertical’s necessary pipeline activity in prospecting, proposal development, presentations, negotiating standard and non-standard contracts, navigates flawlessly, builds rapport, negotiates to win-win, closes multi-million, multi-year contracts.





  • 5+ years of experience in b2b strategic/complex sales in software sales, preferably into mining industry.
  • Proven record of meeting/surpassing multi-million dollar quotas, aggressively penetrating market, expanding and retaining clients.
  • Ability to manage expense budget, meet fiscal goals, create & meet strategic sales plans    
  • Demonstrates the utmost integrity & executive presence in all business dealings
  • Excellent negotiation, proposal, presentation, 1:1 communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
