Job Description

We’re looking for a bright, creative, strategic Junior Designer with at least two years’ experience in an agency or corporate design department. Equipped with some professional experience, you will be prepared to articulate your thinking and aesthetic choices and eager to grow under the guidance of the Creative Director and Art Directors. Like all members of our team, you are a thinker who is confident to share your fresh ideas and perspective.

Qualifications

We foster an open, collaborative environment and the Junior Designer will work very closely with the creative team. The responsibilities of the Junior Designer comprise a blend of production design, conceptual design, and administrative duties. 

As a Junior Designer you will: 

  • regularly be called to expand the design direction established by senior members of the creative team
  • prepare files for production and delivery
  • participate in creative development meetings
  • develop original work
  • partner with other design team members on projects of scale such as identity and branding, ad campaigns, packaging, social media content, and websites

The Junior Designer’s production work includes tasks such as:

  • resizing ads
  • prepping files and images
  • developing brand standards
  • design support work including extending designs and ideas from Art Directors across different mediums, such as applying a web design system across pages and modules, and extending digital ad campaigns

Qualifications

  • BFA or higher in graphic design.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a professional design role.
  • Strong knowledge of professional design applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience preparing finished production files and prepping delivery to print.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize your work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of the aspects of web design and technologies, particularly as they relate to user experience.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, team player.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position in our Boulder, CO office and does not offer remote working opportunity.
