Vermilion is a full-spectrum, Boulder-based 30-person integrated design and interactive agency providing distinctive solutions to a wide range of clients, with particular emphasis on foundations, nonprofits, natural product companies, and civic and educational organizations. Clients include health conscious companies like Whole Foods Markets, Rudi’s Organic Bakery, and Door To Door Organics. Educational and nonprofit clients include Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, University of Colorado, NREL, Outdoor Industry Association, Gill Foundation, Global Greengrants Fund, and the City of Boulder.

We offer a diversified suite of services to accelerate our clients’ goals, from research and brand strategy, to naming and identity, to packaging and print design, to web, social media, interactive and digital marketing services.

We’re looking for candidates who are conceptual, strategic, and collaborative, and are adept at generating authentic ideas and unique expressions, and executing them across channels.

Ideally you’re a creative force in a mid-sized agency, ready for bigger challenges and a wider role. We’re looking for someone who is an eager problem solver and a demonstrated leader, skilled at cultivating the best from a team of multidisciplinary designers across the range of communications and marketing channels.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience leading a creative team within an integrated agency environment, including proven success leading and cultivating a team of designers in digital and traditional mediums.

  • This role requires a multifaceted individual who is both a doer and a leader. You’ll need to have demonstrated expertise in brand development, integrated campaign development, interactive design, and digital marketing.

  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills that enable you to evangelize, articulate, and pitch great work to client stakeholders at all levels and to inspire and rally internal collaborators across disciplines.
