Job Description

Vermilion is looking to hire a strategic, detail-oriented and personable Digital Marketing Coordinator. As a member of our small, but skilled digital marketing team, you have an opportunity to be involved in all all aspects of our digital marketing programs. From paid media planning and management to content strategy and creative development to SEO and analytics, we provide a full suite of digital marketing services to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the timely, successful and profitable delivery of multiple projects and campaigns according to client needs and objectives by managing execution, delivery, timeline and budget.

  • Create monthly or campaign reports to analyze key data and uncover insights and relevant trends. Be able to use this data to provide internal teams and clients with recommendations and next steps.

  • Interest and curiosity for understanding the latest trends in digital marketing, including reading and sharing articles and topics with co-workers.

  • Assist with providing executable and innovative campaign ideas as part of brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and projects (agency experience preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of how digital marketing campaigns work, including how to plan, execute and manage them.

  • Advanced understanding of the difference between strategy and tactics, and how digital campaigns should support overall client goals, objectives and KPIs.

  • Working knowledge of all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC (Paid Search, Display, Video, etc.), email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing and development, and Google Analytics. Specific skills should include:

    • AdWords certification highly preferred, experience with AdWords Editor beneficial. DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) experience beneficial.

    • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) certification preferred, Google Tag Manager experience beneficial.

    • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager preferred, experience with Power Editor beneficial.

    • Experience with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools preferred.

    • Experience with at least one SEO tool preferred (Moz Pro, SEMrush, Raven Tools, etc.)

    • Experience with at least one social media management software tool (e.g. Buffer, HootSuite, SproutSocial, etc.)

  • High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and resourcefulness.

  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
