Overview: Design, extend and support Oracle Applications. Apply knowledge of business/functional requirements and systems technology to effectively develop solutions and support Oracle applications across the enterprise. Identify gaps, design, and deploy process and technology solutions to support the operational requirements and/or strategic initiatives. Develop technical specifications, assist with configuration of applications, develop extensions, integrations, reports and workflows. Coordinate with Centers of Excellence and IT to implement and support Oracle eBusiness suite running on a single enterprise instance. Mentor and develop other IT resources


.Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each): 60% - Translate business/functional requirements into technology solutions. Clearly define and communicate targeted technical solutions via technical design specifications. Lead iterative solution design and prototyping efforts. Create system and end-user documentation to support new system implementation, incident management and enhancement implementation. Transfer knowledge to other team members as required.

25% - Leverage subject matter expertise to analyze and troubleshoot complex system/user issues to determine root cause and develop and deliver effective solutions. Provide coaching and mentoring of less-experienced staff. Assist with systems planning, scheduling and implementation.

15% - Collaborates with project team to keep project on schedule. Coordinate issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors as required. Effectively coordinate and communicate issue resolution.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and at least six years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Substantial experience developing solutions for Oracle's e-business suite and participating in Oracle application implementation is required. Must have demonstrated experience and skill in designing, testing and implementing IT business solutions. Experience as an IT project resource or lead is required. Must have experience with Oracle's development tools, including forms, reports, workflow builder, Business Events, Web ADI, OAF and BI Publisher. Strong working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Host Scripts is essential for success.
