Launched in December 2009 by American and French co‐founders, Meryl Job and Renaud Guillerm, Videdressing is the first social marketplace dedicated to fashion where a community of fashion lovers buy and sell their previously owned clothing and fashion accessories. Videdressing combines the best aspects of an online marketplace with a highly merchandised, fashion savvy retail environment and offers its customers a shopping experience with incomparable range, curation and value for money. The site operates as a trusted third‐party between buyers and sellers, securing all steps of the transactional process from payment to receipt of the merchandise in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction, prevent fraud and fight against the sale of counterfeit items.

Videdressing is number one in its home market of France with more than 4 million visits per month and more than 900,000 items on sale. Videdressing is in the process of scaling internationally and has already launched in Germany. The team is currently composed of 50+ passionate and dedicated employees, working in product, marketing, fashion, and customer service, who are all driven by the same objective of making Videdressing the best possible site to buy and sell fashion online.

Job Description

• Build the overall marketing (site & mobile) strategy including brand positioning, with a focus on New Customers, Cost of Acquisition, and Repeat Purchases.

• Recommend improvement and developement opportunites based on analytics, customer insights and corporate strategy.

• Own the overall marketing budget, including forecasting, performance tracking (ROI, on‐going KPI reportings) and course‐corrective actions.

• Own optimisation of key reports to improve the understanding of the marketing metrics and the customer base.

• Be the champion of marketing‐related product improvements (product recommendations, notifications,...) with the Tech team, and be co‐responsible for flawless delivery of the latter.

• Drive constant engagement and conversion optimisations through A/B testing.

• Coordinate the execution with the reporting team of 360° campaigns, across multiple geographies and key online channels: 

  • SEO
  • Paid Acquisition (Affiliates, SEM, Display, RTB) o CRM
  • Social (Free/Paid)
• Stay abreast of current digital marketing best practices and innovations, making suggestions to incorporate any applicable best practices into new initiatives.

• Collaborate with Product, Business Intelligence, Customer Care and PR teams to implement holistic plans which support collective goals.

• Provide effective communication with all departments on project status and reporting.

Qualifications

● At least 8 years of experience in Online Marketing

● Excellent facilitator of strategic planning, budgeting, traffic forecasting

● Experience of executing high performing marketing campaigns across a range of marketing channels.

● Strong understanding of Paid/Organic Search, CRM, Partners/Affiliates and Social

● Structured problem solver with excellent quantitative/qualitative analytical capabilities.

● Passionate about e‐commerce, and ideally Fashion

● Entrepreneurial/start‐up mindset, can‐do attitude and creative thinker

● Pragmatic thinker that can make decisions under tight deadlines and pressure, very hands‐on

execution with a great attention to detail

● Able to deal with ambiguity and a fast paced constantly changing environment.

● Ability to question the status quo and develop marketing initiatives that support overall

strategic business goals

● Ability to understand the big picture in representing Online Marketing channel specificities.

● Strong commercial acumen and revenue, ROI and profit conscious.

● Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

● Extraordinary partnership negotiation, and content creation skills

● Previous experience in people management (successful candidate will be managing a team of

3‐4 direct reports and a growing virtual team in other markets) and proven ability to relevantly

delegate

● Fluency in English is essential. French and/or German is a big plus.
