Job Description

Viralheat is looking for a dynamic marketing professional who will oversee worldwide demand generation campaign strategies and execution, including lead process flow, development, generation, online and offline demand campaign content creation, online events, campaign user experience, lead scoring, automation strategies, analysis, media purchases and closed-loop lead follow through. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can quickly become familiar with a wide range of concepts, market trends and effective demand-generation techniques in the high-tech, enterprise Social Media Management software realm. This person will run marketing campaigns that deliver tangible and measurable business results. The primary goal of the function is to generate leads that result in sales pipeline and closed business through targeted online strategies and outbound programs.


Ensure Viralheat and customer success through:

  • Run effective marketing demand generation programs

  • Ensure pipeline growth for sales executives within target market and verticals.  

  • Create, execute and manage marketing campaigns to promote Viralheat products and services and generate new sales leads and pipeline

  • Leverage web content, marketing collateral and sales tools to push campaign activities forward

  • Partner with sales team to understand needs and opportunities in specific regions and countries

  • Track and analyze ROI of field of marketing programs, campaigns and activities

  • Manage webinar programs, including speaker procurement, invite process, target list development, post event follow-ups, web promotions, and internal communications

  • Customize demand-generation messaging for improved outbound call efforts post event follow-ups, web promotions, and internal communications

  • Ensure pipeline growth for sales executives within target market and verticals.  

Qualifications

  • BS/BA required

  • 5+ years of experience in demand generation marketing for SaaS or enterprise software based products and services  (marketing software a plus)

  • Strong analytical and marketing skills

  • Strong performer with a proven drive to succeed and guarantee extraordinary success

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

  • Experience driving demand in enterprise technology (existing and new) markets

  • Experience supporting direct and indirect sales channels

  • Experience building and executing integrated campaigns

  • SFDC and Marketo expertise

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to interact effectively with people at all levels, especially the sales organization

  • Ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Self-motivated and a team player


Preferred Requirements  

  • BA (MBA or equivalent a plus)

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Managing projects with direct or matrix reports

  • Enterprise software sales experience in Global 2000 organizations
