Job Description

The Digital Products organization at Visa has overall responsibility for all aspects of product strategy, product management and commercialization of Visa’s digital products such as Visa Checkout and Visa Token Service. Interns for Visa Digital Merchant and Partner Products will be responsible for leading the projects defining the commercialization of the next generation of commerce powered by Visa cards. This leader will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine how to drive convenience and security for remote commerce with Visa Token Service, Visa Checkout, and other Visa solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for collaborating on evaluations next generation form factors like Visa’s QR Code Payment Specification, Visa’s Bluetooth Low Energy Payment specification, and voice driven commerce.

Responsibilities may include

  • Develop and lead go to market efforts for Visa Token Service and Visa Digital Solutions with merchants, gateways / processors, and other strategic partners through the ecosystem. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders on product definition, implementation and certification documentation & procedures.
  • Collaborate with customers (including merchants, processors, gateways, and issuers) and Visa stakeholders to define product requirements for enhancements to Visa’s digital products, including new form factors for Visa commerce experiences such as QR codes. Define and evangelize commercial value proposition for Visa Digital Solutions throughout the payment processing and commerce ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on commercial pilots and proofs of concepts on new payment form factors such as QR codes, BLE, and voice / chat driven payments.

Qualifications

  • First year MBA student
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5+ years of product management, program management, or technical sales leadership experience in the payments, technology, or Internet space.
  • Understanding of payments systems and payment processing, especially for remote / eCommerce and mobile payments a plus
  • Leadership of cross functional teams across the product management lifecycle including product management, design, legal / finance, and development. Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills across a broad range of customers from business executives to technical stakeholders.
