Job Description

We are looking for interns on a number of teams in our Miami, FL office, the headquarters of our Latin America & Caribbean region. Some of the teams you could work on are:

  • Client Support Services: The Client Support Services team’s purpose is to increase the performance of Visa's clients – Financial Institutions, Merchants, Processors and Consumers. The CSS team accomplishes this by providing industry-leading operational support and finding ways for our B2B clients to grow revenue, reduce cost and improve customer experience – while delighting their consumers.
  • LAC Sales: The Sales team works with financial institutions, merchants, issuers, technology companies, mobile network operators, and other industry partners throughout Latina America and the Caribbean to form strategic partnerships to extend the benefits of digital payments. 
  • Regional Marketing: The Marketing team strives to inspire best-in-class engagement that builds brand preference, drives the business, deepens client relationships and prepares the marketing organization for the future.

Job duties might include:

  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives for process efficiency implementations, enhancements to product and services and product trend analysis.
  • Identify client and/or product issues and trends, determine potential resolutions, and assign the appropriate resources to remedy.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business, sales and financial performance of existing deals and present summaries at the client, country and regional level.
  • Work with key digital partners and evaluate new partnership opportunities and collaborate with them on their global platforms
  • Develop online marketing analytics and business intelligence strategy through alignment of performance metrics, analytics structure and reporting process with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

So what are we looking for in a Miami-based intern?

  • Students graduating in December 2017, Spring 2018 or later
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Marketing, Information Systems or a related field
  • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong ability to collaborate with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Highly driven and resourceful 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Except in exceptional circumstances, undergraduate candidates who will require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future will not be considered for this position
