Team Description

​Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at Visa, responsible for providing secure access to misc. payment related applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses and customers across). To stay ahead of the rapidly changing security landscape especially with globalization of Visa's business and newer form factors of access via new devices, IOT etc., IAM service must constantly evolve too.

As a Software Engineer, you will work in this dynamic environment with a talented team, influencing and building the next generation IAM technology stack at Visa.​

Job Description & Project Summary

  • Design, hands on development and testing of IAM components: Services in SOAP/REST, Tools, Integration code, Mobile.
  • Data Analytics, metric development and insight generation to drive the understanding and progression of IAM product and excellence.
  • Deploying & evaluating 3rd party IAM products
  • Participate and contribute in IAM and security related standards (OAuth, FIDO, etc.) and incorporate them in the Identity Management infrastructure at VISA
  • Work closely with partner teams - especially application owners in understanding requirements in Authentication & Authorization and Security aspects related to identity and recommend solutions and as needed make enhancements to identity infrastructure.
  • Keep up to speed with new trends in Identify & Enterprise security (e.g. new authentication mechanisms, new devices, new threats & risks etc.) and enhance the IAM stack as needed.
  • Identify new and disruptive technologies that can help providing better experiences to our customers and elevating our security posture.

Qualifications

  • BS in EE/CS or equivalent
  • Solid hands-on experience as programmer/developer in academic work and/or internships.
  • Strong inter-personnel & communication skills
  • Prior experience on IAM products related to Authentication, provisioning, authorization, SSO, and/or enterprise security protocols like SAML, OpenID, OAuth and/or mobile development (iOS/Android) a big plus.
  • Prior knowledge of data analytics tools and programming a plus.
