Job Description

Located in the Austin-based Shared Service Center, the Lead HR Systems Analyst works within the Foster City-based Corporate and HR Systems team, and participates in technology delivery projects and support in collaboration with Human Resources business partners and various IT teams. The HR application portfolio includes Workday HCM, SaaS, externally hosted and internally hosted package solutions. The Lead HR Systems Analyst collaborates closely with HR business partners in the Shared Service Center and IT colleagues to understand business goals and identify problems that may be effectively resolved with technology solutions. The Lead HR Systems Analyst provides solution selection, project delivery, supplier management, 8x5 application administration and development, and user support services to business users of these systems. Works primarily with business users in the Shared Service Center to provide technical support and coordinate timely and effective resolution to questions and issues associated with the HR applications. Independently follows up to document and research technical issues, and coordinates issue resolution with solution providers and other IT teams. Works with team members to ensure SDLC processes and documentation are completed with quality, and on a timely basis. Contributes to solution selection and requirements elaboration; responsible for assigned design, configuration, development and testing deliverables.   

Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Requires a minimum of 8+ years progressively responsible experience in application administration, development and support
Requires a minimum of 4+ years progressively responsible experience with SaaS and externally hosted HR solution management
Experience with Workday HCM Studio, PICOF and EIB integrations strongly preferred
Experience working in a multinational environment very strongly preferred
Experience working effectively with business and IT staff in multiple locations
Proven experience in eliciting and elaborating business requirements, drafting system design specifications, and developing technical solutions
Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills
Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly
Proven experience working with technologies such as SQL, JEE, C++, XML, XSLT, SOA, ESB, SOAP, REST Web Services and Web technologies
Advanced knowledge of MS Visio; proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of project management, SDLC, risk management, quality engineering
Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues
Active listener, customer focused, relationship builder, team player​
