Job Description

The Sr. Documentum / Java Developer position is an individual contributor role based in our growing Austin, TX office.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience coding in Java and strong experience with Documentum.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of development lifecycle methodologies, with the ability to create design documents, code application capabilities to requirements, and perform/automate testing.  S/He will expertly resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.  Collaboration Technologies team members wear multiple hats and are expected to work across our entire technology stack, so while this role will focus on Java and Documentum development, the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning new technologies, and will draw on a strong development and testing foundation to be able to deliver enterprise solutions with our team in new and exciting ways.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain integration solutions between Documentum, Salesforce and other business applications using REST APIs and SOAP APIs.
  • UI experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption. Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, internal business process, and reporting.
  •  Experience in developing Captiva inputaccel process IPP using Process Developer.
  •  Experience in developing the DOCUMENTUM Foundation Services (DFS) for Ingestion and Retrieval of content from Content server.
  • Experience in Developing DFC and WDK components.
  • Experience using Java, spring, Hibernate, J2EE.
  • Understanding and experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) a must.
  • Experience in Web Services Design, Testing, and Implementation.
  • Good to have knowledge on PowerShell, SQL, python.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a highly collaborative team while independently prioritizing individual daily activities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience developing applications with Java, DFC, Web services
  • Prior experience developing applications Documentum,Captiva and other java related products.
  • Prior experience in Documentum CS /Xplore Upgrades  .
  • Experience in DFS development and build integrations between multiple systems.
  • Strong understanding of development lifecycle, methodologies, and principles (agile, scrum, dev ops, etc)
  • Extensive experience delivering application solutions from requirements, evaluation, architecture, engineering, through launch and support
  • Understanding of enterprise corporate environment extending beyond application platform to network, OS, client OS, browsers, DNS, WAN optimization, encryption, authentication, etc
  • Ability to work with teams in multiple geographical locations and time zones
  • Strong conceptual and analytic thinking skills with the ability to independently drive timely resolution of complex issues
  • Experience in evaluating business requirements and turning them in to technical designs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with a broad group of business and technical stakeholders. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline
  • Good to have  Experience in salesforce platform development in Apex, Visualforce.
