Job Description

The Risk Analyst will primarily focus on our regulatory and risk committees support area.  In this role, you will get to play an important role helping Visa meet its regulatory requirements and support the risk committees' expectations and at the same time, get to learn about the various parts of the business that support our governance framework. Examples are supporting with materials/meeting preparation for Risk Committee meetings, review of materials and tracking/reporting for policy management, and review of materials for regulatory examinations.
 
In addition, the Risk Analyst may be called on to support the team on other client regulatory activities, projects and initiatives as needed. 
 
This position will report to the Vice President of Regulatory and Risk Governance, and work closely with the Sr. Director team lead for Regulatory and Risk Governance Support, and will be based at Visa's headquarters located in Foster City, CA.
 
Responsibilities:


This position will provide support in the management of the Risk Committees and Sub-Committees/Working Groups, regulatory relationship with our US regulators, and other duties as assigned.  Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Support the management of Risk Committees, Sub-Committees, and Working Groups
Support the execution of Global Risk Governance programs
Support the management of the relationship with Visa's Regulators (FFIEC)
Partner with business owners, Legal and other groups in Risk to execute the program objectives
Prepare meeting materials including drafting and updating agendas, resolutions, charters, presentations, minutes, and other related materials for governing bodies
Assist with research and implementation of industry best practices in risk governance and regulatory matters
Manage additional projects as required

Qualifications




Bachelor's Degree required

3+ years of relevant experience in Corporate/Risk Governance and/or legal background, preferably in a global, public company.

Experience with committee support, policy management, and risk governance programs are highly desirable

Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook
