Job Description

Information Security is an integral part of Visa's corporate culture. It is essential to maintaining our position as an industry leader in electronic payments, and it is the responsibility of each and every employee to safeguard information, protect it from unauthorized access, and ensure regulatory compliance. Information Security has a significant effect on privacy, consumer confidence, external reputation, and it is a priority on everyone's agenda. The successful candidate will join Global Information Security and will be responsible for development and implementation of the Cyber Security Engineering program. This person will work within the engineering realm on product selection, testing, certification, and deployment for accountability of our endpoint security tools.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years plus in technology, information security, and/or system administration
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of perimeter security technologies including Firewalls, NAC, Proxies, WAF, IDPS, Network Security
  • Experience with server platforms and virtualization technologies
  • Strong understanding of IP Network Architecture
  • Operational knowledge of systems, databases and network security engineering best practices
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills; able to quickly digest issues encountered and recommend an appropriate solution
  • Experience in using scripting languages automate tasks and manipulate data, such as Perl, Powershell, VBScript, and Bash
