Job Description

Visa Corporate IT (CIT) group has embarked on a major transformation journey. We are transforming ourselves into a true engineering organization where we put customer experience and end user support first. As part of this strategy, we are evolving our business and logistical functions to be more agile in support of a modern workforce. In terms of this role, this change is geared towards rethinking how we manage our department efficiently as a business.

We are optimizing the way we run and track our services and performance. We are evolving the request and service process to enable our end users to be more effective, while removing barriers to success. We are focusing on accurately reflecting the status, success, financial impact and forecasting associated with all aspects of End User Services. As a member of this team, the Business Management Operations function is critical to the oversight and reporting of services while finding opportunities and gaps for continual improvement.

The successful candidate will be required to derive operational metrics which align to OLA/SLA's across the organization, which should include the development of an internal marketplace for all services delivered by End User Systems. As needed, this resource will assist with resource forecasting and project management estimates across the End User Systems team. The position is dynamic with changing demands and priorities, filling gaps where necessary and jumping in to problem solve in an operational environment.

Job Scope:

Reporting to Visa's Sr. Director of End User Systems Business Operations, this role supports delivery of financial and logistical acquisition of End User Systems devices\software. Primarily a business office function, this role has significant impact on the day-to-day success of the overall transformational journey of Corporate IT. Candidate will work with internal customers and peers to ensure the timely delivery of the full range of services, equipment, budget, workforce and projects. Additionally, this resource will assist with End User Systems budget forecasting, analysis, cost of ownership metrics, etc. Candidate will be challenged to work with peers to derive TCO improvements and overall vendor management activities. Resource will work with his\her peers across Corporate IT to ensure that all resource estimates are properly aligned in support of BAU and Project related activities. As needed, this team will provide administrative project management support for activities that do not require technical project management resourcing. The ideal candidate will have previous global experience with purchasing, budgeting, project management, process development\optimization and significant logistical exposure to on time delivery of services and assets.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a full range of IT business activities including business reviews, budget forecasting, workforce planning, and day to day activities associated with an operational workforce
  • Support a global team of resources providing Business Office support
  • Thought leadership and support of the overall supply chain\service request marketplace
  • Vendor management at a strategic level
  • with demonstrated ability to collaborate with 3rd party vendors and internal teams to improve supply chain management
  • Budget management (forecasting, reconciliation, areas for opportunity, etc.) for a $10M + annual budget
  • Development of policies, standards and metrics reporting in support of the delivery of the End User Systems organization
  • Support/Develop organizational transformations related to Metrics and KPI development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management, Logistics or Finance, required
  • 7+ years-experience in a technology centric organization, with a concentration on Business\Control office management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Background in end user services and technologies
  • Previous supply chain management and/or financial experience preferred
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts to meaningful executive level reporting
  • Customer Experience background
  • Strong reporting and analytic skills
  • ITIL grounded, but willing to build off of what makes common sense
