Job Description

Provide analytical, systems and project management support as a member of Visa, Compensation Systems & Analytics Team. Maintain systems that directly support internal and external customers by translating business objectives into supporting technology resources.

This individual must possess excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to make things understandable for senior business management as well as explain things on a detailed level to a technical audience. Must be able to influence project direction and make pragmatic decisions to optimize technical implementation around systems integrations and data migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Compensation System team, including independently researching and resolving complex system problems, producing root-cause analysis, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Partner with Project resources (COE's, HRIS, QA, etc.) in all aspects of system testing including development of test strategy documentation, creating test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics, and test script execution (including stress tests and user acceptance testing)
  • Support resolution of issues escalated by HRSS System Administrators; log tickets/work with IT to resolve
  • Perform all scheduled activities and audits to maintain compensation systems and data
  • Lead the design, planning, execution and validation of the compensation data mapping and migration process
  • Coordinate with manager & team to support project goals and objectives
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking responsibility for delivering the data correctly and on time
  • Manage risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data mapping and migration plan
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of compensation system upgrades or patches
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation
  • Train clients on new processes/functionality and train new system users

Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS degree and/or 5+ year experience in Human Resources and/or Compensation preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 3+ of progressive experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability to effectively support users in complex environment or closely
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills, including proficiency with complex pivot tables and data analysis functions
  • Experience in data migration, database administration, data analysis or systems integration
  • Previous experience with HRIS/Compensation/Payroll functions
  • Action oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with demanding time frames
  • User management and training experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaborative work experience
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Workday/HRIS experience
  • Workday implementation experience
  • Knowledge of Workday compensation and reporting
