Job Description

Visa Corporate IT (CIT) group has embarked on a major transformation journey. We are transforming ourselves into a true engineering organization where we put customer experience and end user support first.  As part of this strategy, we are consolidating several of our Operational functions into a single area focused on providing world class operational support to our End users. This change is geared towards rethinking how we provide Operational support for the services we're responsible for. As a member or the End User Systems Support team, the Director of the End User Operations Security Operations team will be responsible for providing 24x7x365 support for the security systems and services supported by the team. The successful candidate will be required to derive operational metrics which align to OLA/SLA's across the organization for the systems and services provided by our endpoint security operations team.

The Director of End User Endpoint Security Operations team, is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of Visa Inc's Endpoint security operations infrastructure. This is primarily a McAfee based support team, responsible for application support of various technologies protecting our endpoints. Team is responsible for the operational care and feeding of systems, and various level 1 and level 2 support tasks (e.g. Server administration, security patching, day-to-day administration, etc). Additionally, candidate will draw on project management and IT service management skills to maximize collaboration and productivity of their staff and the larger Visa Inc. end-user environment.  The successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing up to 10 globally located staff members, providing a follow the sun support model.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations support of Security Operations support team.
  • Drive transformational initiatives to assist with modernization of the CIT endpoint alerting, monitoring and systems mgmt. infrastructure to meet the demands of a modern workforce.
  • Collaboration with peer stakeholders across other End User Systems operation\engineering functions.
  • Support complex integrations with third-party tools like McAfee DLP, HIPS, Websense, BeyondTrust, etc
  • Create and maintain documentation, policies, SLAs, procedures, change management and end-user training.
  • Coordinate process improvement activities, with the intent to automate away traditional BAU support processes
  • Assist in corporate initiatives to significantly improve customer experience, thru design based thinking and support
  • Hire and develop the End User Systems System administration team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Previous experience managing a globally diverse Security Operations team.
  • 5+ years performing system administration tasks in a medium to large enterprise.
  • Previous experience managing and supporting Active Directory infrastructure for medium to large sized organization.
  • Experience with McAfee, BitLocker, Beyond Trust, Bromium, etc.
  • Above average network understanding
  • Deep understanding of security best practices
  • Proven analytical mindset, ability to make data based decisions whenever possible
  • Hands on experience required, but not necessary for the role
  • Proven ability to stay abreast of technological changes in the field of network and systems administration.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • ITIL minded, but not stuck\bound in ITIL process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in computer science or equivalent technical degree.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and\or written)
