Job Description

Visa Direct is Visa's solutions to support instant payments/payouts for marketplaces.  Visa believes the global opportunity for instant payments is nearly $55 trillion of annual payments volume with an excess of 85% of this fulfilled by checks, cash, or other slow forms of payment.  While some of this represents traditional payments use cases (P2M), a significant portion represents various "payout" use cases (P2P, B2C, B2b, G2C) whereby funds are being disbursed to consumers and small businesses.



This role in the Digital Products organization will lead the end-to-end commercialization effort to support emerging digital client on-boarding for push payments. These clients will skew heavily to on-demand economy / marketplace merchants and small business' like kabbage, taskrabbit, opentable, and instacart.  Push payment solutions are enabled via the Visa Developer Center where clients can innovate and rapidly build marketplace payout experiences.  The desire is to create a best in class fast-to-market product launch experience (e.g. less than 90 days) that is largely "light touch" by product support, technology, and operations. Today, this time-to-market is excessively long from design thru installation. 

This role will own the following:

  • Solution design thru account reps or Visa Developer Platform
  • Program risk review
  • Client set-up
  • Client certification
  • Program launch
  • The end product is a repeatable, self-sustaining scalable operating model for getting these clients market.

Qualifications

The role will report into the Head of North America Push Payments. The role holder must possess a unique blend of strategic thinking, Innovation, people management skills, leadership and a deep understanding of payments, mobile technology, processing, and product launch experience.
