Job Description

Across the globe, people are increasingly relying on digital currency and mobile technology to make purchases online, transfer funds across borders and access basic financial services.  To ensure that payment transactions are both reliable and secure, Visa has invested heavily in advanced technologies.  The company continues to develop innovative new products that bolster security and protect cardholders.
 

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive you will focus on selling Visa's cybersecurity product, Visa Threat Intelligence powered by FireEye to top merchants and acquirers.  This is a client facing, technical sales role that provides value added solution guidance to clients.  Additionally, the Account Executive will closely collaborate with the various Visa account teams.  The Senior Account Executive works directly with the client's information security experts, and is expected to have a detailed understanding of cybersecurity, the threat intelligence competitive landscape, and overall security infrastructure.  They are responsible for managing the entire sales cycle including lead generation, product demos, pipeline management, pricing negotiations, and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • To exceed sales targets by selling Visa's cybersecurity solutions into enterprise accounts within an assigned geographical or vertical market

  • You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales

  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence

  • Engage with prospect organizations to position Visa solutions through strategic value based selling, ROI analysis and references

  • Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.

  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce.com, while creating satisfied and referenceable customers

  • Work closely with the product office to identify opportunities to improve the product suite






Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of quota carrying technology, hardware or SaaS based sales experience (Network and/or Security space a must)

  • Excellent knowledge of cyber security solutions and technologies selling to InfoSec and/or Enterprise Security

  • Strong understanding of threat intelligence competitors, their solutions, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CIO, CEO and CFO levels

  • Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process

  • Track record of success in carrying an annual quota of $1M

  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions

  • Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Experience managing and closing new complex sales cycles

  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

  • Ability to understand customer needs and solve problems

  • Good time management with strong organizational skills

  • Overnight travel is required (25% travel)

  • Can be based anywhere in the US, with an East-Coast territory
