Job Description

The Business Analyst North America Merchant Sales Enablement will be part of Visa's Global Merchant Strategy & Sales Effectiveness Team. Our mission is to enable the North America Merchant Sales team to work more efficiently; utilizing a centralized support function to provide tools, resources and analytical support in order to drive overall sales team productivity and effectiveness. The position will be based in Foster City California.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Planning efforts, including collection and analysis of Visa volume/transaction data, Industry Segment Overviews and Competitive Landscape & Challenges
  • Development of Client Business Review presentations to reflect overview and insights into payment industry innovations, as well as Visa/Client performance and alignment of business objectives/opportunities
  • Industry Analysis & Research, using internal and external information resources
  • Performance Dashboard development and ongoing management
  • Coordination between internal Visa teams to obtain sales materials, informational documents and share feedback in order to achieve priority goals
  • Improve delivery and standardization of our sales support processes and infrastructure through new analytic approaches and creative thinking

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Finance; MBA preferred
  • 2-4+ years of experience performing advanced data analysis
  • 2-4+ years of investment banking or internal/external consulting experience preferred
  • Excellent professional and academic track record
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments and/or retail industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills required
  • Ability to manipulate, understand and distill complex data and analysis into key report formats
  • Ability to package information in a clear, concise and compelling format that supports the sales strategy
  • Highly motivated; demonstrated flexibility, high energy, and a collaborative approach to achieving goals
