Job Description

The Immigration Services Specialist is responsible for providing on site administrative support and coordination of various employment- based visa processes. They will act as the primary point of contact for VISA hiring managers, Employees, HR Staff and outside counsel regarding all immigration matters.

The Immigration Analyst will work directly with candidates, employees, managers and outside immigration counsel in preparing cases. He/she will coordinate immigration postings, tracking and files involved with the immigration process, file maintenance and mailing documents. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping abreast of government, regulatory and/or other pertinent standards, requirements or information regarding employment of individuals on work visas and authorizations.

Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have experience in a high-volume atmosphere, and have strong organizational and communication skills. He/she will be able to handle a high-demanding case load, and accommodate unanticipated spikes in caseload and maintain flexibility under pressure.

  • Day to day administration of U.S. Immigration matters
  • Receives, processes and submits all non-immigrant and immigrant petitions to our contracted law firm
  • Communicate on a daily basis with employees regarding all stages of their non-immigrant and immigrant status (including documentation, case strategy, case progression)
  • Continually review immigration procedures and legal status of employees
  • Coordinates, initiates and manages immigration cases with our outside legal service provider to ensure compliance, optimal process timeline and maximum efficiency
  • Develops and disseminates information materials and trainings to supervisor and foreign nationals' employees on non-immigrant processes.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' experience in employment based US immigration support, preferably in a Tech company
  • At least 2-3 years' experience filing PERM cases
  • Demonstrated experience with filing H1B, filing I-485 petitions with USCIS, and responding to requests for evidence (RFE's) for I-140's and I-485's as well as filing H1, L1 and TN non-immigrant petition
  • Working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage cases and work with strict time-lines
  • Immigration paralegal experience a plus.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all level of employees
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point), Workday system knowledge a plus.
