The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team is responsible for securing employee access to our core applications in the most efficient, compliant and user-friendly manner, innovatively using the latest industry standards and tools. Our goal is to become the gold standard for IAM world-wide, and we are already on our way, recently winning Oracle's annual Identity Management Innovation award!

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the Privileged Access Management team within Information Security. We work hand-in-hand with the IAM operations team to ensure that the end-to-end identity and access management activities for Visa critical platforms and select applications, particularly those that are subject to regulatory requirements, i.e. SOX, SSAE-16, and PCI DSS are properly managed. The Information Security Analyst will provide technical leadership and focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architecture and standards for UNIX/Linux environment.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expertise (SME) over IAM practices, policies and procedures for privileged access management on UNIX (AIX, Solaris, Linux).
  • Identify, analyze and drive technical solutions to improve Privileged Access Management on the UNIX platforms (AIX, Solaris, AIX).
  • Collaborate with the Access Management Operations team to implement process improvement opportunities for the management of Privileged Access on the UNIX platforms (AIX, Solaris, Linux).
  • Actively participate and drive Identity Access Management (IAM) integration and automation effort and ensure alignment to Visa IAM strategy and security policies/standards.
  • Diligently document privileged access management procedures; keep the privileged access management procedures up-to-date.
  • Proactively identify audit and compliance access related issues to reduce the risk of security exposures on the supported systems and applications; coordinate privileged access management related audit and compliance activities, such as user access reporting and other relevant research and investigation.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends to accommodate projects or activities timelines.
  • Have a global mindset and collaborate effectively within and across different teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven strong UNIX system administration background.
  • Knowledge in scripting languages (Perl, Shell script, vbscript, etc)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and have an attention to details.
  • Good working knowledge of Identity Access Management lifecycle and processes, incl. role-based access controls.
  • Understanding of information security principles and IT infrastructure including operating systems, applications, communications and network protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results.
  • Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines.
  • Must be a self-motivated and results oriented individual with an attention to driving aggressive project timelines and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others to achieve a high level of success
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to develop, maintain and foster constructive relationships with others.
  • Dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor degree in computer management, information security or equivalent job experience.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM and other comparative information security certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years UNIX System Administration (AIX, Solaris or Linux) experience required.
