Job Description

As our Software Configuration Analyst, you would be responsible for supporting and implementing various SCM technologies such as the Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Team Foundation Server and GIT tools to optimize Visa's Software Configuration Management tools and support infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • 1st-level support for environment set-up and user help, access, and issue resolution
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to clients via phone & e-mail
  • Contribute information to project plans and meet stated deadlines
  • Be able to compose clear documentation and reports
  • Design and implement workflow in Atlassian Jira
  • Experience with Atlassian Wiki and Confluence, including installing and support plug-ins
  • Experience with large scale GIT and Team Foundation implementations
  • Experience with administration of source code management tools such as GIT and Team Foundation Server
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Provide and support a standard enterprise wide SCM infrastructure, including coordinating and testing of OS level patches and troubleshooting on Windows/Unix/LINUX and AIX platforms
  • Support complex technical issues in an interop production environment including on call responsibilities outside of normal business hours

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

The position also includes interfacing with other teams to collaboratively implement and improve SCM solutions that adhere to Visa Key Control policies. You will work in a team environment that requires the ability to multi-task and adapt to a continual changing and complex environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in technology field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Release or Build Engineer in an interop (Windows/UNIX/AIX/LINUX) environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira/Wiki/Confluence/ Fisheye/Crucible)
  • Proficient in Jira workflow design and administration
  • Proficient with other SCM tools such as GIT, SVN, TFS
  • Experience with Jenkins (templates and administration)
  • Proficient in the use of Perl/Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of Java and .NET programming languages
  • Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management best practices and procedures, CMII or
  • STI Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
