Job Description

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Provide timely and effective support and escalation for z/OS database and associated products in the production and development environments at all Visa Data Centers. This support is also extended to all users of those systems
  • Provide database administration and support for all of Visa's mainframe DB2 databases
  • Manage the change activity across all production and development z/OS systems
  • Responsible for driving service�impacting issues and problems to resolution
  • Responsible for participating in the development and assessments of Visa's overall z/OS database strategies, technologies and architectures to meet the operational and continuity needs of Visa and its customers
  • Provide z/OS DB2-related guidance and training to both internal and external audiences
  • Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience with DB2 and z/OS industry or live production environment experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a computer science or complementary field is absolutely required.
