Job Description

The Visa DCIM platform provides critical planning, analytical, and monitoring capabilities across our global data center footprint. As a Sr. Software Configuration Analyst you will support new site deployments, data quality assurance, issue resolution, and adherence to process standards. You will also serve as a point of contact to the Data Center Operations Team, fielding informational requests and providing general application support. A successful candidate will be a strong leader, detail-oriented, highly skilled, results driven and enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging environment. The Sr. Software Configuration Analyst will be required to work independently with little supervision or direction; demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end user training and support and day-to-day application site support.
  • Track, escalate, and resolve customer-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for management of the daily workflows generated by customer requests and equipment installs, moves and decommissions.
  • Provide strong metrics and reports that lead to intelligent decision-making.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to improve the adoption of the DCIM solution into the overall business planning and reporting effort; as well as translate current and new business requirements into operational processes.
  • Effectively communicate with customers where necessary to develop / enhance system requirements.
  • Conduct audits of data repository to ensure accuracy or identify gaps; responsible for data quality assurance.
  • Assist in managing the DCIM commissioning process including test procedures, scheduling, coordination and teaming with on-site Engineering and Operations personnel.
  • Assist in setting and maintaining DCIM standards of operational excellence, ensure adherence to developed standards. Continue development and evolution of DCIM standards.
  • Assist in new technology research, evaluation, testing and implementation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering preferred. Five years of DCIM implementation and / or support experience required. Minimum of three years of experience in a critical facilities environment required.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and/or Building Automation Systems preferred.
  • Network and cabling experience a plus.
  • Experience with ITIL, ITSM, Nlyte, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow and ticketing workflows preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and proven ability to manage multiple, cross-functional initiatives with overlapping timelines and deliverables.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and advanced problem solving skills, as well as excellent organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs.
