Job Description


The Manager will be a member of Visa's Global Marketing & Communications (M&C) Strategy & Planning team. The team plays a key role in shaping Visa's global marketing strategy, annual planning process, and delivering strategic marketing support to the regions. The team partners with marketing teams and business leaders across Visa's global organization. The team is also responsible for identifying and driving operational improvements to functional processes. The position will be based at Visa's San Francisco's offices ("One Market").

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Conduct analyses and research needed to support the Global Marketing & Comms annual strategic planning process, aligning with business objectives at the enterprise level
Provide analytic, research and strategic support to regional marketing teams in developing strategic marketing and communications platforms and strategies
Support financial, administrative and operational activities for the Marketing & Communications function
Support development of functional communications for Executive and Operating Committee forums
Provide support to Marketing & Communications employee engagement initiatives in partnership with HR
Work within cross-functional and cross-regional project teams


Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required
Management consulting or equivalent experience (2+ years) required
Payments industry experience a plus, but not required
Marketing experience a plus, but not required
Superior problem-solving, analytical and modeling skills
Able to identify issues, conduct analyses, synthesize findings and make recommendations
Able to write executive level presentations focused on key insights
Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment
Ability to handle multiple project work streams, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems
Eagerness to work in teams with personnel of all levels to accomplish project objectives
Comfort in, and ability to, present recommendations to business leaders across Visa
Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; team player
Superior capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel
