Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales, this role with focus on customer acquisition for mid-market sized merchants in North America. The role will involve the leadership of a team of between 10-15 individual contributors that that focus on named account acquisition.

Our ideal candidate will have a breadth and depth of experience including general management, sales, pre sales functions including lead development as well as strong leadership and team development skills with a proven background in enterprise sales leadership experience for either a financial service solutions or SaaS space.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and build an exceptional team with a focus on new customer acquisition and growth within the existing merchant base to ensure the business overachieves its desired targets
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships across top accounts as the executive sponsor to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer
  • Hire world class talent and manage deliver ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes contributors and sales leadership
  • Be the leader of leaders
  • Deliver insights on business trends and sales activities to senior leadership across CyberSource and Visa Inc.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Global Payments and Security and/or related experience SaaS/High Tech industry experience
  • 5+ years in building and running a direct sales team
  • Strong strategic Consultative Selling and Customer Relationship management experience focusing on Enterprise B2B and B2C customer segment
  • Significant experience in engaging and facilitating dialogue with C-level and senior executives at Fortune 100 businesses
  • Success in working in a "fast paced" environment leveraging using tools like Salesforce.com and formal sales methodologies like Miller Heiman, The Challenger Sale
  • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment and to deliver on detail as well as strategy
  • Strong understanding of business process
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) that are leveraged to address complex business issues and opportunities
  • Experience based "Issue Resolution" skills that facilitate dialogue across all levels of a business including the c-suite
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA is a plus
  • An ability to travel up to 25% (as required)
  • Can be based anywhere in the US
