Position Summary

As part of the Risk and Authentication
Products team, the Senior Researcher will be a key technology leader of the Applied
Authentication Center team. The Senior
Researcher will drive authentication research projects such as creating new
methods of authentication, devising methodologies to evaluate and test to
breakage authentication schemes, etc. Creation of new technologies is an
integral part of life in Risk and Authentication Products at Visa, and the
Applied Authentication Center is no exception. Senior Researchers will create
new authentication capabilities that enable Visa and our partners to build and
deliver secure easy to use experiences.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for idea generation, design, development, and testing of authentication methods and/or biometric modalities

• Develop protocols to evaluate and real-world test biometric modalities

• Create methods to test biometric and other authentication methods to breakage

• Hands-on technical leader in the Risk and Authentication Product development group

• Ph.D. in biometrics or computer science with a
  focus on biometrics with demonstrated focus on one of the following areas:
  

• Facial recognition

• Spoof prevention / liveness detection

• Fuzzy extractors / matching in the encrypted
  domain

• Secure Multi-Party Computation

• Privacy and security

• Machine learning / deep learning
