Job Description

isa Performance Solutions (VPS) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s Financial Institution clients. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting,data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VPSsolves the most strategic problems for our clients.

This role is with the US Client Consulting team. This team provides consulting and solution services
for Visa’s largest issuers in North America. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities and drive incremental client and Visa revenue.


What will I work on in US Client Consulting?

The successful candidate will play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals
delivering high impact projects across Visa’s North American US top 30 issuers. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain experience in the issuing client space with the employee having an opportunity to engage and have direct interactions with issuers.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to deliver insights and implications
    to improve client performance, and provide strategic guidance for client payment priorities (i.e. digital payment strategies, customer segment opportunities, product value proposition and positioning)

  • Assume project management responsibility for assigned projects and serve as primary liaison with internal stakeholders for project updates

  • Structure and deliver discussion documents and presentations to illustrate analysis,
    findings, opportunities, client expertise/insights and recommendations

  • Partner  with lead consultants to standardize VPS solutions, develop best practice documents and whitepapers that can be leveraged across US VPS Consulting team as well as VPS globally

  • Refresh and maintain existing solutions, such as Millennial insights to action and digital functionality benchmarking study.

  • Lead and execute the VPS Client Consulting Team’s Public Face strategy, including development of the quarterly newsletter, social networking posts and weekly updates.

  • Support team of senior consultants with on-going business process needs including
    contract development, budgeting, project results tracking, data analysis and other day-to-day ad hoc content requests

  • Support annual plan development, activation and metrics

Qualifications

  1. What is NA Consulting looking for in an Analyst? We are looking for bright and enthusiastic people to enhance the impact of our consulting practice:
  • BA/BS required. Professionals with prior management consulting, banking, and/or emerging technology experience (2-3 year of work experience preferred)

  • Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills

  • Strong analytic skills, with the ability to process and summarize data into key strategic
    insights

  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts

  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt

  • A background in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • An affinity for payments technology and its future

  • Willingness to travel 10-15%, domestic assignments
  • This role is based in New York City.  No relocation assistance is available
